![]() You won't know if your build is viable or not, but there are things you can do to help it survive in the freaky world of Azeroth. The shortest explanation is: Schrodinger's Build Viability. Likewise, if you're an energy or rage focused build, you'll want a mana spender, some kind of heal, or utility. Chances are you'll be building rage, and energy regenerates naturally. I know all of my builds take at least one Rage Spender and one Energy Spender, just as "DPS/utility buttons". Yet even still, some builds will have "random skills" that exist to be a resource sink. You cant just take random skills from random classes and have it be great. For example, there might be a best "Single Target Healer", that'll be amazing for keeping a tank alive through thick and thin, but they might be god awful for keeping the group alive.Īnd yet to further muddy the pool, there will also be bad builds. However, on the same coin, there will also be flaws to each "class". Because while I'd like to say "yeah, sure everything is viable", but the reality is there will be a "best" for everything. This is a nearly impossible question to answer. If respec costs are fixed now, I might come back and try out some new builds. Back when I played they charged serious RMT for it (despite being beta) so t was better to reroll than to respec. Despite being powerful, this got boring quickly, I quit at around level 45 because all I was doing was solo SM runs.Īs I am out of the loop now, I'd say it depends on how costly respeccing is. Download the Launcher from Install and run the Launcher. ![]() The build was so powerful, I was able to solo dungeons around my level. Project Ascension makes it very easy to download, install and get in game with their lightning fast all-in-one launcher. I have no idea how it is now, but back then dodge wasn't capped, and you could stack dodge from all different skilltrees. I was doing solid DPS, and played the game like I used to in normal WoW (questing, grouping, for dungeons etc.). ![]() First I played a mana-based DoT build that I found fun, and it worked out great. Boy am I glad I looked up a guide after all, I would not have beaten the last act without the proper guide I am using.Ĭoming to Ascension, I haven't played there recently, but I played several chars during the very early stages of the server. I just wanted to play the new story (acts 6-10), so I thought I would be fine just speccing whatever. I started PoE again in Harbinger (after the 3.0 release), and I know exactly what you are getting at. ![]()
